What I did on the weekend

I went with Raz and some friends to Houston this weekend to see one of the greatest bands ever. The concert was great in short and I enjoyed it a lot in my passive way, for more accurate descriptions check my friends’ blogs (Spanish only).

Fui con Raz y unos amigos a Houston a ver uno de mis grupos favoritos, el concierto estuvo en pocas palabras genial y lo disfrute mucho en mi manera pasiva, chequen los links anteriores para descripciones mas elocuentes del concierto.

The day after the concert we made the mandatory stop at a LYS, Twisted Yarns in Spring Texas. Beautiful store, great selection, good prices and very helpful people, you should visit if you have the chance.

En el viaje hicimos la parada obligatoria a una tienda local de estambre, Twisted Yarns en Spring, Texas. Hermosa tienda, muy buenos precios y gente bastante amable, ampliamente recomendada.

And of course I bought some souvenir yarn: Plymouth Royal Llama Linen (Yarn envy, totally Mache’s fault for buying it first), Claudia’s Hand Painted Yarns Fingering Wt. (I’ve been dying to get my hands on this one, softest merino ever), Louet Gems, Manos del Uruguay Wool Clasica y Silk Blend (yep, in the same colorway).

Y por supuesto que compre estambre de recuerdo: Plymouth Royal Llama Linen (comprado por que me dio envidia de estambre del que compro Mache), Claudia’s Hand Painted Yarns Fingering Wt., Louet Gems, Manos del Uruguay Wool Clasica y Silk Blend.

All those hours in the car really paid off because I’m almost done with the Kusha Kusha Scarf(ravelry link), I started (and almost finished) 2 Bainbridge Scarves(ravelry link) and finished the new Stephenie Meyer book (amaizing btw).

Con todas las horas de viaje le di una buena avanzada a la Kusha Kusha Scarf(ravelry link), empeze 2 bufandas Bainbridge(ravelry link) y termine el nuevo libro de Stephenie Meyer (genial a propósito).
