Coachella Redux

Pattern: Coachella by Fathom Harvill from Knitty Summer 2007
Yarn: South West Trading Company Phoenix (100% Soysilk, 100g, 175 yds.) in White, 3 skeins.
Needles: Addi US 8 (5mm), Addi US 7 (4.5mm) both 32".
Cast On: July 7
Cast Off: October 3
Mods: Just knit the body a little longer.

Comments:I love it! Of course I finally finished just before the autumn set in, but at least I got around to wear it once. I actually finished knitting it a while ago but straight off the needles it was too small and not so drapey and I didn’t had the energy to knit a third one so I left it unblocked in my knitting basket. I though of washing it on a pure whim and it was just what it needed the stitches relaxed and grew so it fits like a dream and has a wonderful drape. Now the only problem is that I’m not used to wear something as revealing so I really need to find a backless interior blouse.

Me encanta! Claro que lo termine justo para cuando empezó el frío pero bueno alcancé a estrenarlo al menos. Lo había dejado sin terminar porque creí que había quedado muy chico y la verdad no tenia la energía para hacer un tercero pero después de lavarlo los puntos se relajaron creció un poco y quedo con una caída hermosa. Ahora lo único malo es que esta un poco mas escotado de lo que me acostumbro poner así que o busco una blusa interior sin espalda o le coso una tela al escote.

Socktoberfest again!

I want to tell you quickly what I been up to, first remember the Sunrise Circle Jacket? I didn’t think so but is almost done, the left sleeve and the back are blocking and the right sleeve is almost done (old pics).

Aprovecho para rápidamente contarles que he estado haciendo, primero se acuerdan del Sunrise Circle Jacket? Lo mas probable es que no pero esta por ser terminado, la manga izquierda y la espalda están hormandose y me falta casi nada de la segunda manga (fotos antiguas pero querría enseñar la construcción).

I’m pretty sure I can finish the first two pairs by the end of the month but I really want to start a pair of Monkeys with the pink STR yarn, so we’ll see.

Estoy segura de terminar las 2 primeras este mes pero quiero empezar unas Monkeys con el estambre rosa, asi que veremos.

Also I got myself a set of new and very recommended Knitpicks DPN, I just love them they’re like double pointed Addi. It was a little weird at the beginning because I’m very used to my longer Susan Bates DPN, but I got used to very quickly and I adore them.

Y mis nuevas y recomendadísimas agujas de doble punta Knitpicks, me encantan son como Addi de doble punta, al principio las sentí algo extrañas porque están mas cortas que mis usuales Susan Bates, pero me acostumbre muy rápido y las adoro.
