I put up the blog archives at last, this blog make over is going very slowly with Raz so busy.

The Cable Rib Socks are blocking, real post tomorrow.

Bad blogger

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, is just because I haven’t made much progress on my knitting. The cable rib sock has seen some action, but I haven’t touched the 2 sweaters I have on the needles and it’s just too hot to work on the Log cabin blanket. I hate knitting with wool in the summer, your hands get so sticky and gross and the yarn gets stuck on your hands.

Siento haber estado perdida por un tiempo, he estado comentando pero so he tenido ganas de postear porque la verdad no he avanzado mucho en lo que estoy haciendo, solo las calcetas han avanzado un poco pero no he tocado los 2 sweateres que tengo en las agujas y me da calor tejer la colcha. No me gusta tejer con lana en el verano, especialmente cuando las manos te empiezan a sudar y el estambre se te pega, yuck.

So I did what every knitter would have done, I started another project but this time with a summer yarn. This is Sahara from Stitch Diva Studios (I’m making the short sleeve version) knitted on South West Training Company Oasis. The yarn is a worsted weight tape, 100% soy silk very light, with great drape and airy. I’m in loved with the project, I love the fit of that blouse and this summer knit is the prefect remedy for sweaty hands.

Así que hice lo que toda tejedora haría, empecé otro proyecto. Esta es Sahara de Stitch Diva Studios, voy a hacer la versión de manga corta y la estoy haciendo en South West Training Company Oasis. Este es un estambre tipo “tape” (cintilla?) de 100% seda de soya, muy ligera y fresca. Estoy totalmente enamorada del proyecto, excelente tejido para el verano y remedio para manos sudorosas.

Gracias a todas por sus comentarios en mi entrada pasada y en especial por ayudarme con la traducción de términos, ya se que soy una pocha de lo peor pero entiendan que aprendí a tejer sola de libros en ingles.
