Fastest FO ever!

I've entered the Meathead along and help test knit the pattern for Larissa, I had no problems with the original pattern and had like a yard or two of yarn to spare after sewing. The final product is cute but not for everyone, I'd like to knit this in a child size.

I'm not sure if I'll put an embellishment on the hat yet, but if a put something it will be a really simple something. The color of the yarn is Aztec Turquoise.

The chronology of events:

Find yarn from the stash (5 min)

Cast on and start knitting (10 min)

knit before the decreases (done in 45 min)

Done and sewed! (in total of 2 hours)

I’ve seen this meme in so many blogs that little by little I thought of answers for it and decided to put them together so here it is after the cut.

2. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? Yep the gal on Charlie’s Angels, chosen by my 6 year old sister.
3. WHEN DID YOU LAST CRY? I don’t remember exactly, but probably the last time I read something moving in a book. I don’t cry with movies, I cry with books.
4. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? Sometimes, but not a lot, I like my Japanese handwriting better.
5. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCHMEAT? Turkey, specially the one of morning after Christmas.
6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Yep, I’m pretty cool.
7. DO YOU HAVE A JOURNAL? Yes, I kept one since I was 15, but write very rarely. And there is this blog of course.
8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Nop, my father tricked me to get them out when I was 7, he told me I was going to the orthopedist.

Yarn and socks

Long time no post again, sorry about that, there where technical problems (my sister robbing my camera and taking it to New Zealand being one of them) and apart from that I been lazy and a little ashamed of not having finished my socktoberfest socks on time.

But time to post again, I have a few things to show you all first a sneak pic at my socktoberfest socks, they were done on Monday and are blocking right now. Sorry for the bad light.

A beautiful gift from my guilty sister, hand dyed mohair from New Zealand sooo pretty! (She did buy me a new camera too so she’s forgiven)

Last but not least, mail!! STR in lemongrass and lagoon, the lemongrass are destined for kneehighs socks, as I been ogling at this for a long time now.

I must make socks for Raz but he seems to think that all my pink/red variegated sock yarn is too girly for him, maybe I’ll just finished the ones I started for him last year and restrain my urge to cast on for new socks.
