Rip Rip
Here’s what I got of my Blog themed Log-cabin blanket, I love how the colors are looking and how quickly is going.
Aquí esta el avance de mi Log-cabin me encanta como se están viendo los colores juntos y estoy avanzando bastante rápido.
In other news I had to rip my whole Jaywalker because it was too small (that chevron pattern makes really inelastic fabric). This is so sad, I was nearly at the heel of the first sock.
Tuve que deshacer toda mi Jaywalker porque calcule mal y quedo demasiado chica, ese patrón de chevron hace una tela muy inelástica, es muy triste porque ya iba en el talón de la primera.
After this the Jaywalker and I need some time apart, so noting better to lift my spirits than to dip into my Socks that Rock stash and start another sock. This is Cable Rib Socks from the book Favorite Socks in STR medium weight color Romancing the Stone.
Después de esto la Jaywalker y yo necesitamos un tiempo aparte, así que decidí empezar otra calceta con mi stash de Socks that Rock. Es la Cable Rib Socks del nuevo libro Favorite Socks en STR medium weight color Romancing the Stone.
A few repeats into the pattern I noticed than there was going to be some pooling, very much like the one in Raz’s socks and I was no happy about it. So I ripped the whole thing and started again on smaller needles and voila.
A como se estaba viendo la calceta iba a tener un pooling como las calcetas de Raz y no me agradaba mucho la idea. Decidí deshacerla toda y volverla a empezar con agujas mas chicas, fue un mundo de diferencia.
That’s the only bad thing about variegated yarn that I can think, you always have to struggle with pooling.
Es lo único malo que puedo ver con el estambre de cacetas varigated, siempre te tienes que estar peleando para que no haya pooling.
PS. Por favor alguien ilumíneme y díganme los términos en español de “pooling” y “varigated”

Se está viendo muy bien tu log cabin, esos colores se ven muy bien juntos. Los colores de tu STR son de mis favoritos. Y en cuanto a los términos, para variegated podría ser matizado o multicolor; pero para pooling la verdad nunca lo había pensado y ya me quedé con la duda.

Sip, confirmo lo que dice Andrea, Variegated viene siendo matizado... pero pooling no creo que tenga un término definido... habrá que inventárselo :P

Hola Navi, el color y punto de las medias se ven geniales. el variegated es el "matizado" y el pooling por lo que mostrás en la foto es cuando los colores no quedan alineados y así no se forman las rayas en circunferencia junto con la forma de la media. Mmmm, me parece que la compliqué. En lugar de lrayas quedan como escaleritas.

The log cabin is looking fab! And the socks will be great, I really like the pattern and colours. I have also knitted the Jaywalkers, they did fit, but also mine was really "non-elastic".

Me encanta tu Blog. And I love your sweater. I have yet to make one for myself. Maybe when I get my hands on some nice yarn I will attempt it.

Tu log cabin está quedando precioso. Los colores son armoniosos. Tienes muy buen gusto y tamibén muy buena mano para tejer. Espero verlo terminado =:)
