Even though I tried I couldn’t avoid Christmas knitting. Ed asked me for fingerless gloves and hats for him and his new wife (how could I refuse?), sadly I didn’t take any pictures of them. I made the Fetching gloves for her with a matching cabled hat and Knucks and a hat with a simple 4x2 rib for him. A friend asked for fingerless gloves last winter and bought me the yarn for them, and another friend asked me for a hat 2 years ago. I haven’t gotten around to even start those projects yet but they are long overdue.

I started socks for Raz with the STR in lagoon and I'm about to begin the second one. And finally the Urban Aran for Raz in which I’m concentrating all my efforts right now. The yarn is a School Product’s coned superwash merino. I have never worked with coned yarn before and I can definitely feel my hands a little dirty when I’m done knitting. The yarn is lovely though.

I’m at mid-back right now, but this sweater is going fast, I love knitting with chunky yarn.

Also I had my birthday on December 20 and Raz got me this inside an envelope.

B-day riddle

Get it? SOCKS that ROCK GIFT CARD!! He couldn’t give me the giftcard itself because it is still in the mail (gotta love the Mexican Postal Service) but still is the sweetest gift thanks Love!
