Long overdue

Pattern: Best Friends Forever Socks by Cookie A.
Yarn: Lorna's Laces Shepard Sock (80% superwash wool, 20% Nylon, 215 yds.) in Lilac, 2 skeins.
Needles: Susan Bates US 1
Cast On: October 24
Cast Off: November 5
Mods: Made the smallest size and did 12 cable pattern repeats for the leg instead of nine (those Lorna's laces have very good yardage).
Comments:
I came to the realization that I like my socks small because wool tends to get stretch lot and I hate baggy socks. I loved the pattern and though the cables will look beautiful in a solid colors. The Lorna’s laces yarn is great to work with but is on the thin side of sock yarns so is best use thinner needles. The toe point requires grafting and I can’t graft for the live of me so the toes are a bit wonky but is practice.

So I have lots of thing that I been working on, hats mostly and I will put a picture of all of the together. I swatched for the Urban Aran and started the front but I don’t have much to tell because Raz is demanding socks and I have another hat to finish. Silly me for thinking there will be no x-mas knitting.

¡EStán preciosos! El lila es de mis colores favoritos y creo que se ven mucho mejor en un color sólido que los originales. Espero que ahora que hace frío los disfrutes mucho.

LOL I think I m still lucky that I don't have to give so many presents from myself, but rather there are a lot of presents from the family, so I don't have any of those commitments. I do have to give something to my bf and his mom... damn...

Wow, in that solid colour they surely look better then the original. I initially wanted to knit my in pink multicolour, but may rethink now ;)
