XMAS FO (sort of)

Sooooo, I finally finished the scarf from my older sister the beautiful Alba, but I have a problem with it which I will tell later, here's the pretty project:

Pattern: "Ruffles" from Scarf Style.
Yarn: Gedifra Fashion Trend Color, Colorway 4569, 4 balls.
Needles: Addi Turbo US 6
Cast On: November 16
Cast Off: November 28
Mods: None

The pattern is easy, just a bit troublesome due to short rows and it seems to drag on forever so it can become a bit boring, it is the kind of project stuck in the middle: you can't do mindlessly but is far to simple to be interesting all the way. In the end is well worth the effort, the resut is simply stunning, it looks far better than the picure in the book. The yarn is dificult to work (and my addis could have pointier ends) and a little itchy but the colorway is gorgeous. I am very happy with the result.

So here is the problem, I LOVE the scarf and was looking for reasons to not give it to my sister. Luckly I found one: it is itchy, and my sister can't stand anything itchy at all, me? I can stand itchy and gorgeous so I decided to keep it. To pacify my guilt I will knit her a new one from the delicious, smooth-as-butter Debbie Bliss Cathay.

I just hope to finish it on time, I have a gazillion WIPs for my very large family due to Xmas and the Jesee's Flames sweater from SNBN, sans the flames for Raz.
